Passing of Members Grandfather

Chester Township Fire Company is saddened to announce the passing of Carmelo J. Vitanza on March 28, 2024. He was the grandfather of members Christina and Josh Slate. He proudly served our country as a Torpedoman’s Mate 3rd class in the Navy during WWll. Carmelo loved the accordion, having started playing at the young age of 9, but what he loved the most in life was his wife and family. He was He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-great grandfather who will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. -Rest Easy Carmelo, we love and miss you
